General Information:MarVistaRecreation Center is located at the intersection of Palms Boulevard and Sawtelle Boulevard. Our special features include: Roller Hockey Rink, Seasonal Swimming Pool, Baseball Diamonds, Auditorium, Picnic Areas, Playground, outdoor basketball courts (lighted) and Gymnasium (without weights). Moon bounce permits will be issued for picnic areas #3 and #4. The recreation building (including restrooms) will be open during facility hours only, and will be locked at all other times. NO grills or other extra equipment not pre-approved by the recreation center. Our staff, instructors, and volunteers offer a variety of programs and activities for the community. Preschool Fun, art classes, seasonal camp programs, sports classes/programs, and dance and fitness activities are all available.

Preschool Information:Registration is ongoing as long as space is available. Mar Vista RC offers a quality learning and nurturing environment. Your child will experience an enrichment based program that offers supervised play, social, cognitive and emotional interaction, organized activities, special events, and much more. Circle time, music, story time, games, play and table-top activities such as crafts, cooking and science.

Children must be fully toilet trained. Parent volunteers are welcome and encourage. Please inquire within the office for details on getting a volunteer application. For more information about this program please call the recreation center office at310.398.5982.

Picnic Permits:There are four picnic areas available. Moon bounce permits will be issued for picnic areas #3 and #4. Sports Information:We offer youth sports leagues for children 3-15 years of age, providing your child meets the age requirements. Co-Rec and Girls Soccer, Co-Rec Flag Football, Co-Rec and Girls Basketball in the winter, Co-Rec and Girls Soccer, Co-Rec baseball is offered in the spring.

Seasonal Camp Information:MarVistaRecreation Center offers seasonal camp programs during the winter, spring and summer based on the LAUSD school calendar for school age children 5-12 years old and Tiny Tot camp for ages 3-5 years old during the summer only.

Class Registration Information:Our current class information is available online (see above). Please call(310)398-5982for more information. Classes run for eight weeks, unless otherwise stated. Participants must meet class age requirements by the date of enrollment. Staff reserves the right to require proof of age at any time. Visa and MasterCard credit cards can be used to register online. See below for our refund policy.

Please consult with your physician before enrolling in any physically demanding class. Persons with disabilities are welcome to participate in our programs. Reasonable accommodations will be made with prior arrangements. Please notify the instructor prior to the start of class if you or your child has special needs.

ACTIVITY REFUND POLICY:

• A 20% administration fee will be assessed by the recreation center for any patron granted a refund or a full credit can be applied to your account to be used at Mar Vista Recreation Center only at a later date.
• No full refunds will be issued unless a class or sports league is cancelled by the center.
• Credit or make-ups will not be given for classes missed by patrons
• There will be no prorating for classes.
• We reserve the right to cancel/combine classes if the minimum enrollment is not met.
